Social Media Strategy

The Challenge:
Increase visibility and student interaction for the Counseling Center’s Instagram account. The goal was to strengthen the center’s connection with students and encourage engagement with available resources and events.

My Role:
Social media creator and campaign coordinator — responsible for designing content, developing strategies, and managing campaign execution.

What I Did:

• Designed Student-Friendly Visuals
Created approachable, visually appealing graphics tailored to resonate with students, using relatable language, campus-friendly designs, and clear calls to action.

• Optimized Posting Strategies
Planned and adjusted posting schedules based on student activity patterns to maximize reach and interaction, ensuring content appeared when students were most active online.

• Promoted On-Campus Events
Supported event marketing efforts with targeted posts and story content to raise awareness and drive attendance for Counseling Center programs, workshops, and events.

• Balanced Information with Engagement
Produced content that was both educational and engaging, helping demystify counseling services and building a sense of trust and community among students.

• Coordinated Campaign Elements
Managed the creative process from concept to posting, ensuring alignment between visuals, captions, hashtags, and event promotion goals.

The Impact:

• A 10 percent increase in overall Instagram engagement, including likes, comments, shares, and saves
